Instructions to open Magnetic Latch Puzzle Box:
- Firmly strike/tap the bottom of the wooden puzzle box (closed) against the palm of the opposing hand. (This box utilizes a magnetic latch with a free-moving small metal ball and a magnet. You must first loosen this metal ball from the magnet. Striking the bottom of the entire closed box firmly against the palm of the hand will detach the metal ball from the magnetic mechanism).
- After this step, you should be able to laterally/horizontally slide the top of the box lid off. If not, please repeat step #1. (Please note that the box lid will only move parallel to the puzzle cutout. To view, look at the side of the box to see where the puzzle lid cutout is located).
- After sliding off the outside decorative lid, pull inner small lid upward to reveal hidden inner compartment.
- To close box, reverse steps listed above.
- Reactivate the magnet as the final step to lock/secure the box. Gently shake the entire closed box (use a very gentle up & down shaking motion) to reattach the small metal ball to the magnet to activate the magnetic latch mechanism.
