Description
The Gerald R. Ford, an aircraft carrier, was laid down in November 2009. Built as an upgraded version of the Nimitz-class, the Gerald R. Ford is larger, and better than her predecessor. As of 2017, she is the world’s largest carrier, displacing over 100,000 tons. She is still in service with the US Navy.
